The Lady Lovibond mythos is a legend about a ghost ship that is said to haunt the Goodwin Sands, off the coast of Kent, England. According to the legend, the ship was wrecked on 13 February 1748, when the jealous first mate killed the crew member at the wheel and steered the ship onto the sands, killing everyone on board. The ship was carrying the captain, his bride, and their guests, who were celebrating their wedding. The legend claims that the ship reappears every 50 years as a phantom vessel.

Hello and welcome to my channel. I make videos depicting strange and weird events using AI images.
In this video, we will explore the legend of the Lady Lovibond. Let’s go.
The Lady Lovibond is a legendary ghost ship that is said to haunt the Goodwin Sands, off the coast of Kent, England.
It is said that the ship sank in February 1748. The captain and his bride had just gotten married and were celebrating with their guest on a cruise.
The first mate, however, was a jealous lover of the bride. And while the celebration was going on below deck, the first mate, in a fit of jealous rage, struck down the helmsman who was steering the ship.
The first mate then took over the control and then ran the Lady Lovibond onto the Goodwin Sands, killing everyone on board. Since then, various sightings of the ship have been reported every 50 years.
What we’re gonna do in this video is hop on board the ghost ship of the Lady Lovibond and explore what’s going on. Kinda like what we did for Lincoln's ghost train. Let’s go!
On the night it sank, the deck would be nearly empty and only manned by a skeleton crew, so to speak. Because most on board would be below deck, celebrating.
According to the lore, this guy got ganked by the first mate.
Below deck and in the forward section of the ship are the Captain and the crew’s quarters. They have to be near the controls and rigging. And it’s typically very cramped.
Of course, the Captain’s cabin is more comfortable than the crew’s quarters.
The navigation room is where maps and charts are stored.
A ghost ship is still a ship. Meaning that it has a galley. And a galley has a master.
Mess halls are typically the rowdiest place in a ship.
According to the lore, the Lady Lovibond was also on its way to deliver some goods to Portugal.
Typically, passengers stay in more luxurious cabins of schooners.
Wedding guests in the dining area of the Lady Lovibond.
On the night of the celebration, the galley must have been filled with food and drinks for the occasion. I’m also assuming here that there’s a separate galley for the guests and the crew.
The lounge is where the guests relax and enjoy each other’s company. Perhaps listen to the piano player.
According to the lore, this guy spoiled the party.
